Job Description Designation: Pilot – Fixed Wing UAV
n Location: Bangalore
n Education: Diploma/Degree in Engineering or a related field
n Certification: Must have Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) issued by DGCA
n Experience: 10+ Years
n About the Role: The pilot will be responsible for the secure and efficient operation (flying, tuning, etc.) of fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles for various applications including testing and demonstration in both manual and autonomous modes.
n Roles & Responsibilities:
n n Operate fixed-wing UAVs in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements in manual, autonomous and hybrid modes.
n Tune flight controllers for ground and air operations.
n Coordinate with project/team leads for flight planning, task execution, progress reporting and issue escalation.
n Execute flight missions ensuring safety, compliance, and mission objectives are met.
n Monitor UAV systems and performance during flights to ensure operational integrity.
n Troubleshoot and address any in-flight issues or anomalies promptly and effectively.
n Develop detailed flight plans and conduct pre-flight checks.
n Assess weather conditions and other environmental factors to determine flight feasibility.
n Coordinate with team members to understand mission objectives and requirements.
n Conduct post-flight inspections and maintenance checks.
n Download and analyze flight data, providing detailed reports on mission outcomes.
n Prepare and maintain SOPs, flight logs, maintenance records, and other necessary documentation.




n Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of UAV systems and ground control stations.
n Adhere to all aviation regulations and company safety protocols.
n Stay updated on UAV regulatory changes and industry best practices.
n Be flexible with extended hours, travel, and schedule shifts to support testing needs.
n Manage inventory of UAV components, spare parts, and related supplies.
n Perform other duties as required.
n n Requirement:
n n Familiarity with various UAV platforms, navigation systems, and ground control software.
n Strong knowledge of UAV integration.
n Must be an Indian citizen and, if selected, may be subject to a government security investigation.
n Strong understanding of aerodynamics, flight principles, and UAV technology.
n Excellent situational awareness and decision-making skills.
n Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
n Must have the ability to visualize and work with complex mechanical/electrical systems and work with others in problem solving.
n Accountability, Teamwork and cooperation, Cultural awareness, conflict management, well-organized and strong sense of responsibility.
n Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail.
n Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
n Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
n Ability to travel to various job sites as required.
