Job Description:

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Accounts & Finance Head for a leading real estate developer company based in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have strong exposure to accounting, finance, taxation, compliance, MIS, fund management, and project accounting within the real estate/construction industry.The candidate must be a qualified CA with proven leadership experience in handling end-to-end finance and accounts operations for multiple projects/business verticals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts & Financial Management

- Manage end-to-end accounting operations of the organization.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts, ledgers, journal entries, and financial records.
- Finalization of accounts, preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor project-wise accounting, costing, and profitability analysis.
- Oversee receivables, payables, budgeting, and working capital management.

2. Taxation & Compliance

- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
- Ensure timely filing of returns and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and government authorities.




- Ensure compliance with RERA and other real estate-related regulations.

3. Financial Planning & MIS

- Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial analysis, and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow, fund utilisation, and project financing .Support management in strategic financial planning and decision-making.
- Develop and implement internal financial controls and systems.

4. Team Management

- Lead and manage the accounts and finance team efficiently.
- Coordinate with internal departments including projects, procurement, sales, and legal teams.
- Drive process improvements and automation in finance operations.

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

Candidate Profile

- Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
- • Minimum 12-15 years of relevant experience, preferably in real
- estate/construction companies.
- • Solid knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial management.
- • Experience in project accounting and real estate finance is highly preferred.
- • Proficiency in ERP/Tally and MS Excel.
- • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
