Job Description:

Role: Investment & Strategy Associate (Family Office) Opening Note We are looking for a young investment professional with early exposure to AIF / VC / startup ecosystem, who wants to move beyond traditional analysis. This role is for someone who wants to: * understand businesses deeply (not just evaluate them) * form independent views (not just follow consensus) * combine investing with real-world exploration Location: Mumbai / Nashik Frequent travel expected. You will work directly with the founder / family office. Role Summary This is not a conventional analyst role. You will act as a thinking partner to the founder, helping evaluate opportunities, explore sectors, and build conviction through both analysis and on-ground understanding. Key Responsibilities Investment * Evaluate startups across sectors * Break down business models, unit economics, and scalability * Prepare sharp 1–2 page investment notes * Highlight risks, edge, and investment view Research * Conduct deep dives into sectors and emerging trends * Map competitive landscapes and business models * Build clear, structured investment theses * Connect dots across industries and identify patterns Travel & On-Ground Exploration * Use and evaluate products (D2C, apps, services) * Visit stores, warehouses,



and operations where relevant * Interact with founders, operators, and customers * Build insights from first-hand observation, not just reports AI & Tools * Use AI tools to accelerate research and thinking * Build simple workflows for tracking companies and insights * Organize knowledge into a structured “second brain” * Continuously experiment with new tools and approaches Candidate Profile Background * 1–3 years experience in AIF / VC / startup ecosystem * Based in Mumbai / Nashik or willing to relocate * Comfortable with frequent travel Core Traits * High curiosity about businesses and markets * Independent thinking and strong point of view * Ability to simplify complexity into clear insights * Comfortable working in an unstructured environment Skills * Strong writing and structured thinking * Positive research and analytical ability * Basic financial understanding * Ability to ask the right questions What Will Differentiate You * You go beyond desk research and explore businesses on-ground * You have written investment or business notes * You have strong opinions on companies/sectors * You actively use AI/tools to think better and move faster
