Job Description:

We are looking for a US Tax Senior with expertise in preparing and reviewing business tax returns including partnerships, corporations, and S-corporations. The role includes handling complex structures, international reporting, and supervising team members.

Key Responsibilities
1.⁠ ⁠Tax Preparation & Review
•⁠ ⁠Prepare and review:
o Form 1065 (Partnerships)
o Form 1120 (C-Corporations)
o Form 1120S (S-Corporations)
•⁠ ⁠Review K-1 allocations, capital accounts, and book-tax differences
•⁠ ⁠Handle multi-entity and fund structures

2.⁠ ⁠International & Foreign Reporting
•⁠ ⁠Prepare and review:
o Form 5471 (CFC reporting)
o Form 5472 (Foreign-owned US entities / related party transactions)
o Form 8865 (Foreign partnerships)
o Form 8858 (Foreign disregarded entities)
o Form 1118 (Foreign Tax Credit – Corporations)
o PFIC (Form 8621)
•⁠ ⁠Analyze cross-border transactions, transfer pricing basics, and intercompany dealings

3.⁠ ⁠Partnership Tax & Advanced Concepts
•⁠ ⁠Handle:
o Capital accounts (tax vs book)
o Basis tracking (inside/outside basis)




o Section 704(b), 704(c) allocations
o Section 754 elections and 743(b) / 734(b) adjustments
•⁠ ⁠Work on fund structures and investment entities

4.⁠ ⁠Technical Review & Research
•⁠ ⁠Review complex returns for compliance and accuracy
•⁠ ⁠Research tax positions and document conclusions

5.⁠ ⁠Client & Team Coordination
•⁠ ⁠Interact with clients for data gathering and issue resolution
•⁠ ⁠Supervise and review work of junior staff
•⁠ ⁠Provide training and technical guidance

6.⁠ ⁠Compliance & Filings
•⁠ ⁠Ensure timely filing of federal and state returns
•⁠ ⁠Handle extensions, estimates, and compliance calendars
