Job Description:

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the work of plant operators, technicians, and maintenance staff to ensure smooth and effective plant operations.
- Plan and prioritize daily tasks, assigning responsibilities to team members based on skill levels and workload.
- Monitor plant performance indicators and implement corrective actions as needed to optimize production efficiency and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Train and mentor new employees, providing guidance on plant procedures, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Collaborate with management and engineering staff to develop and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, equipment maintenance, and inventory levels.

Requirements:





- Proven experience as a Foreman or similar supervisory role in an industrial setting, preferably in a sponge iron plant or similar heavy industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve production targets and quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Thorough knowledge of plant operations, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
