Key Responsibilities

- Secure & Efficient Coal Handling: Manage processes like coal unloading, storage, crushing, and conveyor transport to maintain continuous operations.

- Operational Coordination: Work closely with Power Block Shift Leaders to ensure flawless shift handovers and seamless operations.

- Staff Supervision & Training: Lead, monitor, and develop CHP shift staff. Provide on-the-job coaching, and oversee welfare and development.

- Fuel Management: Achieve daily/weekly fuel plan targets by coordinating with Fuel Management or Jetty & Materials teams.

- Process Adherence & Environmental Focus: Enforce SOPs, drive environmental compliance, and oversee pollution control mechanisms like fire/dust suppression systems.

Maintain high safety standards via permit-to-work systems, confined space protocols, JSA reviews, and proactive hazard recognition.

Qualifications & Experience
- Educational Background: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering—preferred. Advanced diplomas (D3) may be acceptable with experience.

- For larger plants (≥300 MW): ≥5 years in coal handling or CHP operations.

- For steel/metal plants: 0–2 years experience may suffice for entry-level roles.
