Role Objective
The Business Development Manager will be focused on converting and managing relationships with clients and industry partners based in Mumbai. This role is key to helping Valocity broaden and grow its customer facing and account management capacity. Working alongside the customer, product, and data teams.
Key Outcomes of the Role
Business Development
- Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
- Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation
- Generate leads by cold calling/meeting with prospective customers
- Foster and develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure they are extremely satisfied, and we have 100% client retention, and grow our business with them
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams. Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
- Think strategically and use your acumen to develop your network and come up with holistic solutions for the onboarded clients’ issues/problems
- Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement and execute operational changes
- Have a positive understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them
