We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced DevOps & Toolchain Manager to lead a team of six engineers in an agile (Scrum) setting. This role involves managing the infrastructure and toolchain supporting embedded software development, with a strong focus on communication, cybersecurity, and innovation through AI integration.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Agile Management
- Functional management of a 6-person team using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Sprint planning and task tracking using JIRA.
- Mentoring and supporting team members in their technical and professional growth.
Stakeholder Communication
- Act as the main point of contact for external stakeholders including IT Group, Cybersecurity teams, embedded software project teams, and top management.
- Provide clear and structured updates, reports, and presentations.
Toolchain & Infrastructure Management
- Oversee the installation and maintenance of embedded software development tools (e.g., Polarion, GitLab, Jenkins, Coverity, JFrog) on Azure-hosted RedHat Linux and Windows VMs.
- Manage SaaS applications such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Coordinate with external vendors developing complementary web applications.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to identify and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities.
- Plan and implement product cybersecurity tools within the toolchain.
Innovation & AI Integration
- Lead the planning, experimentation, and deployment of AI solutions within the toolchain to enhance productivity and automation.
Asset & License Management
- Manage software licenses and maintenance contracts, including renewals and compliance tracking.
CI/CD & Project Onboarding
- Create and configure projects across all tools in the infrastructure.
