Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly articulate and detail-oriented Sub Editor to support the editorial leadership and manage day-to-day coordination for the magazine. The role requires robust English writing and editing skills, excellent communication abilities, editorial judgment, and the capability to coordinate with contributors, writers, institutions, and industry stakeholders.

The ideal candidate should be intellectually curious, well-organized, digitally savvy, and capable of handling editorial workflows independently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit, proofread, and refine articles, interviews, features, speeches, and opinion pieces
- Coordinate with contributors, guest writers, diplomats, industry leaders, and editorial partners
- Assist in planning magazine themes, editorial calendars, and special editions
- Compile and organize research, articles, and background material related to India–Israel relations
- Ensure consistency in language, tone,



formatting, and editorial quality
- Support content creation for print, digital, website, LinkedIn, and social media platforms
- Conduct basic fact-checking and editorial verification
- Coordinate with designers, printers, digital teams, and publishing partners
- Assist senior editorial leadership in managing publication timelines and issue releases
- Archive, digitize, and maintain editorial records and publication material
- Support interviews, event coverage, and editorial communication when required

Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent command over written and spoken English
- Strong editing, proofreading, and communication skills
- Ability to structure and refine long-form written content
- Good understanding of current affairs, international relations, diplomacy, media, or policy matters
- Comfortable working with senior professionals, institutions, and public personalities
