Job Description Design Engineer – Façade
n Location - Mumbai
n Position: Design Engineer – Façade & Window
n Key Responsibilities
n n Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings for facade, curtain wall, glazing, windows, and doors.
n Study architectural and structural drawings and coordinate with project requirements.
n Design aluminum window, door, curtain wall, skylight, and cladding systems.
n Perform material take-offs and prepare design-related BOQs.
n Coordinate with architects, consultants, clients, and project teams.
n Ensure designs comply with project specifications, safety standards, and industry codes.
n Review and approve fabrication drawings before production.
n Resolve technical issues during fabrication and installation stages.
n Prepare design calculations and technical documentation.




n n Required Skills
n n Solid knowledge of façade systems, curtain walls, glazing, aluminum windows, and doors.
n Proficiency in AutoCAD.
n Knowledge of 3D modeling software such as SketchUp, Revit, or SolidWorks is an advantage.
n Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
n Understanding of aluminum profiles, glass specifications, and façade materials.
n Valuable coordination and communication skills.
n n Qualifications
n n B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Architecture, or related field.
n Experience in façade, glazing, aluminum windows & doors design.
