Job Description:

Developer Lead (L3) — Backend / Full Stack

Focus Architecture, Technical Strategy, Mentorship, Cross-Functional Leadership

Key Responsibilities:
• Architectural Leadership: Design and lead implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient
systems integrating legacy and modern microservices (Docker/Kubernetes).
• System Modernization: Spearhead modernization of core PHP systems with frameworks like
Laravel or Symfony, improving maintainability and performance.
• Technical Oversight: Spend ~40% of time hands-on, solving complex system-level challenges
across PHP, React, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Mentorship & Standards: Define coding standards, conduct architectural and code reviews,
and mentor engineers to foster technical excellence.
• Cloud & Scalability Strategy: Collaborate with DevOps to design cloud-agnostic, cost-efficient,
and resilient systems on AWS.
Required Expertise:




• Strong expertise in PHP (Laravel/Symfony) and object-oriented design.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, design patterns, and distributed systems.
• Advanced experience with RDBMS (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL systems.
• Skilled with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub workflows, and Kubernetes/Docker deployments.
• Solid collaboration and communication across cross-functional teams.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
• Experience working in US healthcare domain, particularly in benefits administration or claims
processing systems.
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, PHI data handling, and EDI integrations.
• Exposure to payer–provider workflows, insurance data models, or eligibility verification
systems.
