General Responsibilities:- Working as a Head of Department, Responsible for Vehicle Management, supervising shop operation , assisting mechanics, Scheduling, assigning service, maintenance and repair needs like spares etc. repairing, servicing and maintaining loader, Tipper, Hydraulic Mobile Crane, 3d backhoe loader, Tractor, Sweeping M/c, DG Set, Diesel Engine, Compressor, etc. preparing and maintaining maintenance records and files.

Essential Tasks:-

- Allotment of vehicles to all division so production, maintenance , modification, project and dispatch etc shall not affect.
- Scheduling of vehicles for next day and schedule shall be sent to top management on every evening.
- Working is SAP in a PM Module.
- Spare management & Inventory control.
- Supervise the repair and overhaul of all vehicular equipment and related components, oversee all shop operations.
- Evaluate work of mechanics to ensure that repairs meet manufacturer’s specification and requirements.
- Check the status of maintenance and repair work on vehicles.
- Coordinate incoming work with existing workload.
- Help establish maintenance work to ensure that work is performed within established time frames.




- Instruct subordinates in the proper use of shop equipment and tools.
- Provide assistance with repairs when needed.
- Make recommendations regarding maintenance procedures.
- Initiate and process maintenance work orders in SAP.
- Answer telephone, respond to complaints from other department.
- Troubleshoot maintenance problems and recommend corrective action.
- Perform related work as required.
- MIS Preparation.
- Monitoring monthly expenses on operation and maintenance of vehicles and optimization of cost.
- Preparation of Annual budget for automobile Department.
- Any Other key result area as specified time to time by top management.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:- Thorough knowledge of the methods, practices, materials and tools of the automotive mechanic trade with particular emphasis in the diesel powered vehicle, thorough knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of the trade, thorough knowledge of the principles of diesel engine & hydraulic system operations, knowledge of the practices, methods and tools of the welding and machinist trades, ability to plan and supervise the work of skilled mechanics and other shop workers, ability to diagnose defects, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates & Other Department.

Special Requirements:- 1.Excellent Knowledge of Hydraulic System of Vehicles. 2.Knowledge of SAP/ERP System. 3.Knowledge of MIS Preparation.
