About the role:
The education team at Kong sits at the crucial intersection of engineering, product, and customer success. Their primary mission is to translate Kong's highly complex, cloud-native technologies into accessible, engaging learning experiences for global enterprise customers, partners, and internal staff.

You will be working with a small, tightly knit education team based in the UK, who have deep knowledge of Kong products and curriculum development. This team is responsible for creating and delivering both online and instructor-led training to Kong customers and partners.

As a curriculum developer, you will design hands-on labs and coursework covering the full API lifecycle, distilling complex cloud-native architectures, service meshes, and technologies like Kubernetes, Go,



and Lua into digestible modules.
Your educational content will have a massive global impact, directly empowering enterprise architects, DevOps engineers, and the open-source community to master the critical infrastructure powering billions of daily API transactions.

What you'll be doing:
- Working with a diverse team of people from all over the world
- Building curriculums and associated training materials to support our internal and external training needs
- Partnering with engineering and product management to understand our technical capabilities and developing content to enable technical audiences to understand how to best leverage our capabilities
- Producing quality learning content including but not limited to presentation slides, instructor guides, lab instructions, assessment and credential questions, videos and course descriptions for both web-based training and instructor-led tra
