Job Description:

•
Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions.
•
Can Independently create and maintain Application schema upgrade scripts
•
Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data model.
•
Effectively manage day-to-day tasks in coordination with a team of developers and stakeholders to meet deliverables.
•
Strong programming capabilities in SQL and other DB technologies– Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, Transactions, Data Flow.
•
Performance Optimization – Performance tuning, measurement, and capacity planning of Production Software solutions,
•
Experience in creating and implementing strategies for partitioning, archiving and maturity models for applications
•
Expertise in performing Backup & Recovery through RMAN/Data Pump utilities.
•
Experience in Oracle RAC Administration, ASM,



Disaster Recovery Implementation
•
Knowledge on Data Guard and Data Guard Broker configuration and maintenance.
•
Experience in Oracle engineered systems like Exadata
•
Extensive experience in Golden Gate replication
•
Ability to work under pressure - quick thinking and remaining calm during stressful situations.
•
Willingness to work in shifts and on weekends.
•
Good Communication skills
•
Flexible to take oncall to support production systems
•
Able to adapt to a constantly changing workplace.
•
Good team player and assist peers
