Position: Sr. Manager – Electrical & Automation Design & Development
Location: Sari, Ahmedabad
Reporting To: Vice President – Corporate R&D;
Compensation: ₹14–17 LPA (depending on candidate profile & experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our Electrical & Automation Design & Development function. The ideal candidate will bring 12–15 years of domain expertise with proven leadership skills, strong technical knowledge, and a passion for driving innovation in automation technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of electrical & automation systems, ensuring innovation, safety, and compliance with global standards.

Mentor, guide, and manage a team of engineers while fostering a culture of problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Collaborate closely with mechanical, embedded electronics, software, and production teams for seamless product integration.

Drive R&D; projects from concept to commercialization, ensuring timely delivery and quality benchmarks.

Evaluate, adopt, and implement advanced automation technologies to enhance efficiency and competitiveness.

Prepare detailed technical reports, provide expertise to internal stakeholders, and offer support to customers when required.

Preferred Background & Experience

12–15 years of experience in Electrical & Automation Design / R&D;, with at least 3 years in a leadership or mentorship role.

Solid technical expertise in electrical panels, industrial automation, SCADA, PLC programming, and control systems.

Proficient understanding of sensors, motors, drives, and automation hardware/software.

Hands-on experience with industry practices and standards such as IEC, NEMA, and NFPA.

Demonstrated track record in managing end-to-end automation solutions and delivering results in R&D; environments.
