Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare and process sales and purchase invoices.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare payment vouchers and process vendor payments.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
- Prepare GST/TDS-related documentation and support statutory compliance (India).
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with customers.
- Maintain fixed asset records and expense reports.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial statements as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- MBA (Finance) or M.Com is an added advantage.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally ERP/TallyPrime, Zoho Books, Busy, or SAP.
- Valuable understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience:
- 1–4 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Experience handling vendor payments, reconciliations, and statutory filings.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
