We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a global pharmaceutical analytics program focused on building contemporary cloud-based data platforms and enterprise reporting solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Microsoft Azure services.- Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for enterprise data platforms.- Develop data transformation logic using SQL, Python, and Apache Spark.- Implement data integration solutions across multiple enterprise systems.- Design and maintain relational database (RDBMS) solutions.- Build data models that support analytics and reporting requirements.- Develop datasets for dashboards and reports in Power BI.- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and stakeholders to understand business requirements.- Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.- Implement user stories and maintain high-quality software solutions.- Monitor and optimize data pipeline performance.- Ensure data quality,



security, scalability, and reliability.- Contribute to architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.Required Qualifications : - 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Synapse Analytics.- Strong SQL programming skills.- Experience with Python and Apache Spark.- Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines.- Strong knowledge of relational databases (RDBMS).- Experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.- Experience with Azure data services and cloud-native architectures.- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).- Experience implementing user stories in Agile environments.Preferred Qualifications : - Microsoft Certified : Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) or equivalent Azure Data Engineering certification.- Experience with Azure Cognitive Services.- Experience with Azure Logic Apps.- Experience working in Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences projects.- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is a plus.- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
