Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead high-performing software engineering teams and drive the successful delivery of scalable, high-quality products. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Java, Node.js, and AI technologies, along with proven experience in engineering leadership, technical strategy, team mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.Key Responsibilities : Engineering Leadership : - Lead, mentor, and manage high-performing software engineering teams.- Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.- Conduct regular performance reviews, career development discussions, and technical mentoring.- Recruit, onboard, and retain top engineering talent.Product Delivery : - Drive end-to-end product development, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.- Collaborate with Product Management, Design, QA, and DevOps teams to define project scope, priorities, and timelines.- Manage sprint planning, resource allocation, and execution in an Agile environment.- Monitor project progress and proactively address risks and dependencies.Technical Strategy & Architecture : - Define and execute the technical roadmap aligned with business objectives.- Provide architectural guidance for scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.- Drive the adoption of engineering best practices, coding standards, and design principles.- Evaluate and implement modern technologies and frameworks to improve development efficiency.Software Development :



- Provide technical leadership for applications built using Java and Node.js.- Guide teams in designing and developing robust APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.- Leverage AI technologies to build intelligent, data-driven product capabilities where applicable.- Participate in architecture reviews and critical technical decision-making.Quality & Operational Excellence : - Ensure high standards of code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.- Improve system reliability, performance, scalability, and security.- Drive engineering metrics, technical debt reduction, and process improvements.- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize deployment pipelines and production operations.Cross-Functional Collaboration : - Work closely with Product Managers, Business Stakeholders, Architects, and Customer Success teams.- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.- Communicate technical decisions and project updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 10-18 years of software engineering experience, including experience in engineering leadership or people management.- Solid hands-on experience with Java and Node.js.- Experience designing and developing scalable, cloud-native applications and microservices.- Exposure to AI/ML technologies, Generative AI, or AI-powered product development is preferred.- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern software development practices.- Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
