Job Description Job Purpose
n The CCTV Production Manager is responsible for end-to-end management of CCTV camera manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met with optimal quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery while driving continuous improvement in processes, productivity, and people capability.
n Key Responsibilities
n Production & Operations
n n Plan, organize, and control CCTV production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
n Ensure smooth assembly of CCTV cameras, DVR/NVRs, and related accessories as per defined SOPs.
n Balance manpower, machines, and materials to achieve optimal throughput.
n Monitor production KPIs such as output, efficiency, yield, and downtime.
n n Quality Management
n n Ensure compliance with product quality standards, testing protocols, and customer requirements.
n Drive reduction in defects, rework, and field failures through root cause analysis and CAPA.
n Coordinate with Quality teams for audits, certifications, and process validations.
n n Cost & Productivity Improvement
n n Drive cost reduction initiatives related to material usage, labor efficiency, and process optimization.
n Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
n Improve line balancing, cycle time, and first-pass yield.
n n People Management
n n Lead, motivate, and develop production supervisors, engineers, and shop-floor workforce.
n Conduct training on SOPs, quality awareness, safety, and productivity improvement.
n Manage manpower planning, shift allocation, and performance reviews.
n n Supply Chain & Coordination




n n Coordinate with PPC, Supply Chain, and Stores to ensure material availability.
n Work closely with R&D; and Engineering for new product introduction (NPI) and process changes.
n Support vendor development for outsourced or critical components.
n n Safety & Compliance
n n Ensure adherence to EHS standards and statutory compliance on the shop floor.
n Promote a safe, disciplined, and clean working environment.
n n Reporting & Documentation
n n Prepare and review daily/weekly/monthly production reports.
n Track KPIs and present performance reviews to management.
n Ensure documentation of SOPs, work instructions, and process controls.
n n Key Skills & Competencies
n n Strong knowledge of CCTV camera manufacturing, electronics assembly, and testing processes
n Expertise in production planning, capacity utilization, and process improvement
n Working knowledge of Electronic Product Assembly, Lean, 5S, and Operation Excellence.
n Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
n Valuable understanding of ERP/MRP/SAP systems
n Effective communication and cross-functional coordination
n n n Educational Qualifications
n B.E. / B. Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical
n n n Experience
n 12–15 years of experience in electronics manufacturing
n Minimum 3–5 years in a HOD role managing CCTV
n n Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

n First-pass yield and defect rate
