Job Description:
Plantex - Category Manager
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow product categories on eCommerce platforms like Amazon and Flipkart.
* Conduct market research, analyze trends, and identify growth opportunities
* Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and optimize pricing.
* Monitor category performance, sales, and profitability.
* Collaborate with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams for category planning.
* Drive current product launches and promotional campaigns.
* Prepare reports and present insights to senior management.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business, Marketing, or related field.
* 3+ years experience in eCommerce or retail category management.
* Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Familiarity with online marketplaces, product listings, and performance analytics.
