The opportunity
Manufacturing Production manages or assists with managing various production activities (e.g., assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc.) including Planning, directing, and monitoring production to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards. Liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, etc. as input to developing production schedules and allocating labor/capital resources. Planning, prioritizing, and managing production line maintenance/downtime to minimize disruptions A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision.
Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
How you’ll make an impact
- Plan and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for dry bushings (RIP/RIS).
- Ensure strict adherence to process parameters, work instructions, and SOPs.
- Support engineering in process optimization, new product introduction (NPI), and design changes.
- Maintain a secure working environment and ensure compliance with EHS and statutory requirements.
- Promote safety culture, conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments, and audits.
- Ensure proper handling of resins, chemicals, ovens, and high‑voltage test areas.
- Control manufacturing costs, scrap, and consumables.
- Drive lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Improve cycle time, yield, and first‑pass quality.
- Support capacity expansion and debottlenecking activities.
