Experience: 3 to 5 Years (preferably in a large corporate or manufacturing setup)
Industry: Engineering / Manufacturing
Qualification: Graduate
Key responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day store operations independently
- Maintain accurate records of inward and outward material movement
- Monitor and control inventory to ensure zero stock-outs and smooth production flow
- Perform ABC analysis of items and identify critical spares/consumables (preferable but not compulsory)
- Finalise minimum stock levels and reorder points for all items
- Raise purchase indents in a timely manner to avoid delays
- Coordinate with purchase, production, and vendors for material planning
- Carry out physical stock verification and reconcile with system records
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company procedures
- Ensure proper storage, labelling, and handling of materials
Key skills:
- Robust knowledge of inventory management principles
- Ability to do ABC analysis and apply it to stock control (preferable but not compulsory)
- Practical understanding of minimum order quantity (MOQ) and reorder level concepts
- Familiar with ERP/MS excel for store operations
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Proactive, responsible, and able to work independently
