Key responsibilities for this role:
- Liaising and negotiating with over 80 suppliers from the UK improving margin and getting
- the best price possible. This will involve calling and hard negotiating .
- Reviewing margins for over 600 lines and addressing issues.
- Looking for current products and suppliers
- Managing product and supplier issues – liaising with the sales team to ensure this
- Dealing with price increases, negotiating with suppliers
- reviewing company sell prices weekly and adjusting ours on our ERP SYSTEM
- Reviewing competitors’ prices to ensure we are competitive and at the required margins
- Conducting marketing campaigns with suppliers
- Checking daily sales margin for below and low costs
- Reviewing customer agreements tables
- Setting sell prices on systems and updating customer agreement on erp system
- Chasing open purchase order and late deliveries
