Key Responsibilities
- Undertake hydraulic design and analysis of rural drinking water supply systems, including source-to-service delivery infrastructure.
- Develop and review hydraulic models for transmission and distribution networks.
- Determine design flows, pipe diameters, pumping requirements, storage capacities, and pressure zones.
- Carry out surge analysis and recommend appropriate surge protection measures.
- Review designs, drawings, calculations, and contractor submissions to ensure technical compliance.
- Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and pipeline design teams for integrated project delivery.
- Support optimization of water supply schemes to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in design reviews, technical evaluations, and project planning activities.
- Provide technical support during construction, testing, commissioning, and performance verification of water supply systems.
- Prepare hydraulic design reports, technical notes, and project documentation.
