Job Summary

The Project Manager – Shipbuilding is responsible for the end-to-end management of shipbuilding projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, quality standards, and overall project objectives. The role involves coordinating engineering, production, procurement, commercial, and support functions while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans covering scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams including engineers, technicians,



and subcontractors.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration across project teams.

Budget Management
- Prepare and manage project budgets.
- Track expenses and ensure financial accountability.
- Identify cost overruns and implement corrective actions.

Change Order Management
- Establish and manage change order processes.
- Ensure all project changes are documented, evaluated, approved, and communicated.

Client Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients.
- Provide regular project updates.
- Manage client expectations and address project-related concerns.

Quality, Health, Safety & Setting (QHSE)
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and client specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections and audits.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Promote a safe working environment throughout project execution.

Risk Management
