Job Description n Modelling and analyzing transmission systems through 3D FEM Modeling using Altair HyperWorks.
n Analyzing powertrain components for loads, stresses, and Lifetime.
n Calculating housing and other transmission components for hybrid and electric powertrain designs using simulation tools.
n Preprocessing of geometry in Altair HyperMesh/SimLab.
n Defining boundary conditions, perform Postprocessing and check for plausibility and Interpretation of simulation results.
n Creating reports according to Magna Powertrain specifications and templates, including recommendations and proposals for design optimization.
n Writing technical documents and presenting the results in an effective manner.
n n Required Tool Knowledge:
n n Hypermesh, Simlab, Hyperview, Optistruct, Abaqus,
n n Abaqus CAE/Viewer(optional)
n n FEMFAT for break & fatigue analysis
