Job Description – Inter CA / Inter Cost Accountant (Commercial Department)

Assist in preparation and analysis of financial statements, MIS reports, and cost reports.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for effective cost control.

Monitor commercial transactions, purchase orders, vendor payments, and credit control.

Handle costing activities including product costing, overhead allocation, and profitability analysis.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation requirements, and internal policies.

Work on SAP for financial entries, cost monitoring, reconciliations, and reporting.

Assist in audits (internal, statutory, and tax) by preparing required schedules and documentation.

Coordinate with procurement, sales, and operations teams for commercial and cost-related matters.

Maintain accuracy in accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely closure of books.

Contribute to process improvement initiatives in commercial and financial operations.
