The Shift In-Charge is responsible for overseeing and managing all production-related activities during the assigned shift to ensure smooth, secure, and efficient plant operations. The role involves supervising plant personnel, monitoring production parameters, ensuring quality compliance, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily production operations during the shift, ensuring adherence to process parameters and production targets.

Monitor and control plant operations through DCS/PLC systems, making real-time adjustments as needed.

Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and environmental regulations.

Coordinate with other departments such as Quality Control, Maintenance, and Logistics to resolve any issues impacting production.

Perform troubleshooting of process deviations or equipment malfunctions and escalate where necessary.

Maintain accurate shift reports, logbooks, and production records.
