Job Description:

The Purchase Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organization’s procurement and supply chain operations, including vendor development, order finalization, inventory management, cost optimization, and logistics (import/export). The role requires close coordination with production, planning, and site teams to ensure the timely availability of quality materials at the most competitive costs

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage the Purchase Department.
• Handle order processing, negotiation, and finalization.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, and Operations teams for timely delivery and technical requirements
• Develop and evaluate new vendors to strengthen the supplier base.
• Work with vendors for new product development and product standardization.
• Implement cost optimization strategies.
• Monitor and execute spares management.
• Coordination with site engineer for spare parts requirement.
• Coordination with store department for purchasing.




• Develop and mentor subordinates in line with their strengths.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration / Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, purchase, or supply chain (preferably in manufacturing/engineering industry).
• Strong knowledge of vendor development, negotiation, and contract management.
• Understanding of logistics, import-export procedures, and inventory management.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office/ Tally Prime.
• Robust analytical, decision-making, and cost optimization abilities.
