Job Description We are seeking a senior leader to drive large-scale transition programs and portfolio execution for our expanding India footprint. This includes in-house SEI teams, a rapidly growing Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad, and multiple third-party partner relationships.
n This role will be responsible for end-to-end technology & operations transition execution, including:
n n Migration of roles from onshore locations into the GCC
n Conversion of partner-delivered services into SEI-owned capabilities ("insourcing")
n Establishing disciplined program management and governance across all GCC initiatives
n n You will act as the central driver of execution—ensuring that transitions are structured, risks are managed, and outcomes are delivered with speed, quality, and predictability.
n This role partners closely with the GCC General Manager, global functional leaders, HR, Finance, and external partners to scale the GCC in a controlled and measurable way.
n What You Will Do:
n Transition Strategy & Execution (Core Focus)
n n Lead end-to-end transition programs moving work into the GCC, including:
n Onshore → offshore role migrations
n Third-party → SEI employee conversions ("partner to captive" transitions)
n Define transition roadmaps, sequencing, and prioritization aligned to business strategy
n Build and manage detailed transition plans covering scope, timelines, milestones, and dependencies
n Oversee knowledge transfer, training, and stabilization to ensure successful handoffs to BAU teams
n n Partner-to-GCC Conversion (Key Differentiator)
n n Drive structured programs to transition work from external partners into the GCC
n Develop business cases for insourcing, including cost, risk,
and capability considerations
n Coordinate closely with Procurement, HR, and business stakeholders on:
n Talent identification and hiring strategies
n Role mapping and capability build-out
n Contract transition and exit planning
n Ensure continuity of service and minimal disruption during transitions
n n Program & Portfolio Management (PMO Leadership)
n n Stand up and lead a GCC-wide PMO framework for transitions and strategic initiatives
n Maintain an integrated portfolio of all transitions, migrations, and GCC programs
n Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and benefits realization across workstreams
n Drive disciplined execution through standardized tools, templates, and reporting
n n Governance & Reporting
n n Establish governance forums, steering committees, and execution cadences
n Develop executive dashboards and report on:
n Transition progress
n Hiring vs. plan
n Cost savings / value realization
n Delivery health and risks
n Provide clear, data-driven insights to senior leadership
n n Workforce Planning & Capacity Alignment
n n Partner with HR and Finance to align hiring plans with transition timelines
n Ensure workforce readiness to support incoming transitions
n Track capacity, ramp-up progress, and productivity during scaling phases
n n Risk, Issue & Change Management
n n Proactively identify risks across transitions (delivery, people, knowledge retention, vendor dependencies)
n Implement mitigation strategies and escalation frameworks
n Manage change impacts across stakeholders during transitions
n n Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership
n n Serve as a key interface across global business leaders, GCC leadership, and external partners
n Drive alignment across geographically distributed teams
n Influence outcomes without direct authority in a complex environment

n n Refine transition methodologies, playbooks, and templates
n Identify opportunities to improve speed, quality, and repeatability of transitions
n Support the evolution of the GCC operating model as scale increases
n n What We're Looking For
n n Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred
n 15+ years of experience in program management, transitions, outsourcing/insourcing, or GCC/shared services environments
n Proven track record leading:
n Large-scale transition programs
n Onshore → offshore migrations
n Vendor-to-captive (insourcing) transformations
n Strong expertise in PMO leadership, including portfolio tracking, governance, and reporting
n Experience building business cases and managing complex stakeholder environments
n Robust understanding of workforce planning and ramp-up in GCC models
n Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and globally distributed environment
n Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
n Proficiency with tools such as Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Smartsheet, or Jira
