Role description:
The Senior Project Controls Manager - Architectural is responsible for leading the cost management and project controls function across capital projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, regional codes, and global standards. The role is part of the Project Controls Team within the Centre of Excellence (COE) team and requires technical oversight, process optimization, and effective stakeholder engagement to deliver commercial efficiency and governance for real estate and capital projects.
Role accountabilities:
- Strategic Stakeholder Liaison:
Act as the primary interface between the COE and Regional Capital Management teams to align project deliverables, timelines, and strict adherence to Stage Gate policies and procedures.
- Technical Peer Review & Governance: Conduct technical reviews of MEP cost estimates, contracts, and change orders to ensure compliance with regional codes, project requirements, and independent cost verification standards.
- Commercial Risk & Analysis: Evaluate global construction trends, inflation indices, and supply chain shifts to provide "gap reports" comparing design information against approved Business Cases at key Stage Gates.
- Process Innovation & Tool Development: Lead the development and optimization of the COE standard suite of tools, templates, and Quality Assurance processes to drive global standardization and commercial efficiency.
