Job Description:
- Assist the network team in day-to-day operations, including monitoring, securing, and administrating network infrastructure devices, and assisting internal users with troubleshooting network issues.
- Monitor the status of network infrastructure devices. Create and respond to Interface/Node Down alerts in a timely manner.Troubleshoot and restore downed network interfaces and nodes.
- Assist internal users and the network team in the storage, retrieval, and backup of business-critical data in the cloud.
- Regularly review and approve pending server software patches. Deploy approved patches according to the internal maintenance schedule.
- Perform preventative maintenance on network infrastructure devices, and monitor network performance.
- Regularly test disaster recovery procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.
- High level of proficiency with Windows Server 2022 and previous versions.
- High level of proficiency with Windows 10/11.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite.




- Proficiency with network infrastructure concepts, deployment, and maintenance.
- Proficiency with network monitoring software and tools.
- Proficiency with cloud data storage/backup software and tools.
- Profiency with disaster recovery concepts, software, and tools.
- Proficiency with Cisco and/or Dell network switches is preferred.
- A customer-oriented attitude, with a strong focus on delivering prompt and courteous service.
- A strong sense of urgency and responsibility.
- An analytical mindset with a knack for troubleshooting and puzzle-solving.
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions, especially standard work instructions (SWI).
- CompTIA Network+ or similar certification preferred.
- CompTIA Security+ or similar certification is a plus.
- Experience in a manufacturing workplace is a plus.
