Job Description:
- Sending requisition of materials to Plant
- Maintaining and reporting pending orders of sales to respective parties
- Keeping track of production, Follow up with Production to plan shipments
- Organizing schedules for shipments ie. Planning dispatch, booking including Haz approval, movement of cargo post custom clearance till gate-in at port
- Ordering packaging materials through Purchase and keeping track of its delivery / availability to ensure timely dispatches
- Verifying Packaging and Packages at the time of Dispatch for shipping marks, labels, weight accuracy etc.
- Drawing Lot Wise samples at the time of dispatch and retain for record in case of any complaint from customer
- Stock updating after dispatch
- Managing transportation arrangement for dispatches
- Ensure shipments delivery to customers within ETA
- Preparing the advance license and keeping the track of all advance license to ensure export benefits
- Coordination with DGFT E-com, MEIS, ECGC, DFIA, Advance Authorization, EPCG, LUT BOND application, etc
- Preparing all pre-shipment and post-shipment documents without errors
- Good understanding of standard shipping documents including lodgment in bank and as required by each customer
- Liaison with Customs Clearing Agent and forwarding Agent, Transporter for export and import shipment
- Ensuring the shipment cost within budget
- Development of current shipping agencies to reduce cost
- Resolving issues related to shipment and report back to head or management
