Job Description 1. Statutory Compliance
n n Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory regulations.
n Manage compliances related to Factory Act, CLRA, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, EPF, ESIC, and other applicable labour laws.
n Ensure timely submission of statutory returns, renewals, and legal filings.
n n 2. Contractor Compliance
n n Monitor statutory compliance of contract labour deployed at the factory.
n Verify contractor licences, labour records, wage registers, PF & ESIC challans, and statutory documentation.
n Ensure contractors comply with legal and company compliance requirements.
n n 3. Factory Compliance & Audits
n n Coordinate internal, external, customer, and statutory compliance audits.
n Prepare audit documentation and implement corrective actions.
n Ensure readiness for inspections by labour authorities and other government agencies.
n n 4. Documentation & Record Management
n n Maintain statutory registers, employee records, compliance documents, licences, and approvals.
n Ensure proper documentation and record retention as per statutory requirements.
n Maintain confidentiality of employee and compliance records.
n n 5. Government Liaison
n n Coordinate with Labour Department, Factory Inspector, PF, ESIC, and other statutory authorities.
n Facilitate inspections and ensure timely closure of observations.




n Track statutory amendments and communicate changes to management.
n n 6. HR Compliance & Reporting
n n Support payroll compliance by validating attendance, overtime, statutory deductions, and leave records.
n Prepare monthly compliance MIS, audit reports, and management dashboards.
n Conduct awareness sessions on labour law compliance, company policies, and statutory requirements.
n n Education and Experience
n n Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Human Resources, Personnel Management, Labour Welfare, MSW, or MBA (HR).
n 4–8 years of experience in Factory HR Compliance within a manufacturing organization.
n Strong knowledge of Factory Act, CLRA, EPF, ESIC, Labour Laws, Statutory Compliance, and Contractor Compliance.
n Experience in statutory audits, government inspections, and compliance documentation.
n Good knowledge of MS Office and HRMS/ERP systems.
