Job Description Position: Senior Manager – Medical Affairs

n n Key Responsibilities
n Team Leadership & People Management
n n Lead recruitment, onboarding and development of the Regional Medical Advisor (RMA) team.
n Build and manage a high-performing RMA team through coaching, mentoring and performance management.
n Develop and deliver scientific and medical training programs for RMAs.
n Ensure consistency in scientific knowledge, medical excellence and field medical practices across the business.
n Drive talent development, succession planning and employee retention.
n Ensure timely reporting of any Product Complaints, ADRs or Adverse Events to the Pharmacovigilance (PV) team.
n n Medical Affairs & Scientific Leadership
n n Lead the development of Medical Affairs strategies and field medical capabilities.
n Ensure high-quality scientific support for internal stakeholders and external healthcare professionals.
n Support disease awareness, scientific exchange and product lifecycle management across assigned therapeutic areas.
n Identify operational improvements and implement best practices within the RMA function.
n n Cross-Functional Collaboration
n n Work closely with Medical Affairs,



Marketing and Sales teams to ensure alignment of business objectives.
n Support Medico-Marketing initiatives including Advisory Boards, Medical Booths, Educational Programs and Scientific Events.
n Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute medical and clinical strategies.
n Share insights from Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and the external medical community with internal stakeholders.
n Ensure adequate field medical resource planning to support business priorities.
n n Compliance & Governance
n n Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company SOPs and Medical Affairs guidelines.
n Maintain high standards of ethical scientific engagement and field medical compliance.
n Support continuous improvement of Medical Affairs processes and capabilities.
n n External Engagement
n n Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals.
n Participate in national and international scientific meetings to stay updated on therapeutic area developments.
n Present Medical Affairs updates and business reviews to internal leadership teams.
n n Preferred Background
n n 8-12 years of Medical Affairs experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
n Experience managing Regional Medical Advisors (RMAs), Medical Advisors or Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs).
n Solid exposure to KOL management, scientific engagement, Medico-Marketing and cross-functional leadership.
n Experience in multinational pharmaceutical organizations will be an advantage.
