We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with other accounting team members to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in our SAP system. He will be responsible for preparing financial statements, including the P&L;, Balance Sheet and the Fund Flow statements as per the frequency required by the organization. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy, compliance, and supporting overall financial management.
Responsibilities:
- Timely and Accurate Financial Entries:
- Coordinate with the accounting and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions in our SAP system.
- Review financial transactions promptly to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a systematic approach to data entry in SAP to
streamline the accounting process.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies and irregularities.
- Financial Statement Preparation:

- Utilize SAP system to extract necessary financial data in
the preparation of the Profit and Loss (P&L;) statement and Balance Sheet.
- Compile and analyze financial information to prepare
accurate and timely financial statements.
MIS generation and analyses ( all SAP modules)

- Month-end and Year-end Closing:
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes to
ensure all financial activities are appropriately accounted for.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for closing procedures.

- Qualifications & skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and
regulations.
- Proficiency in SAP system, especially FICO module ( and other modules will be an advantage )
