n After chasing brokers, navigating fake listings, and locking up lakhs in deposits, most renters settle because the system leaves them no real choice. Helium is a rental platform for gated homes, where your security deposit is linked to your credit score. Under the hood, we run two fintech products, a rent guarantee for homeowners and a credit led deposit solution for tenants.
n We are backed by founders and operators from Blinkit, CRED, Zomato, and Stanza Living.
n Role Overview
n Every home a tenant rents through Helium, they choose sight-unseen, based entirely on the photos and videos we shoot. That makes this one of the highest-leverage roles at Helium: you are the reason a tenant trusts a home enough to sign, and the reason our brand feels premium the moment someone lands on our page. You'll start by owning execution end-to-end: every photoshoot, every walkthrough, every reel. As you prove this out, the role grows into owning Helium's entire visual strategy: how we show up on the website, on social, and eventually building and leading a team of photographers/editors as we expand across Bangalore's micro-markets. This is a founding role: you're not slotting into an existing content function, you're building it.
n Key Responsibilities
n n Shoot Every Home Like It's the Hero Shot: Lead photoshoots across our premium properties. Your eye for light, space, and composition is what makes a home irresistible in a 3-second scroll.
n Be the Tenant's Only Site Visit: Shoot and edit walkthrough videos that do the job of a physical visit,



good enough that people sign a lease without ever walking in.
n Build Helium's Visual Voice on Social: Create the reels, brand films, and stories that define how Helium looks and feels online: distinctive, premium, nothing that looks like a broker's WhatsApp forward.
n Push the Edit: Bring footage to life through grading, sound, and pacing, and constantly raise the bar on what "positive" looks like for a rental platform.
n Own the Visual Strategy: As the role grows, take charge of how Helium shows up visually across the website and every social channel, not just producing content, but deciding what content we make and why.
n Build the Team: Recruit, train, and lead a growing bench of photographers and editors as Helium expands property acquisition across new Bangalore micro-markets.
n n Requirements
n n 0-3 years of experience shooting and editing photo/video (professionally or self-taught), OR a relevant course/certification in photography, filmmaking, or video editing.
n Strong portfolio demonstrating both photography and video editing (walkthroughs, reels, or brand films): this matters far more than years on a resume.
n Proficiency with a professional camera/gear setup and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, or equivalent).
n A sharp eye for composition, light, and space, able to make interiors look premium without staging.
n Founder mindset: hands-on, fast-moving, comfortable owning a shoot solo today and building a team tomorrow.
