The Role
As a Mainframe z/OS System Programmer SME at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of current technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world.

There’s never a typical day as a Mainframe z/OS System Programmer at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance.



You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Roles & Responsibilities
- z/OS SME Lead is a technical leadership role, uniting and guiding Kyndryl technical teams, stakeholders from clients, governance, and project executives to delivery and even the vendors who work with the client.
- As a Lead SME, you’ll draw upon the full breadth of your talent and experience. This is a technical leadership role aligned with Kyndryl vision, mission, and values.
- As a subject matter expert to the client – consulting early, gathering inputs, understanding what they need from our solution. You define what Kyndryl can do to meet this solution. You design the best solution for the job. And finally, you’re the tech leader for implementation.
