We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Statutory Labor Law Compliance Skilled to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience in labor law compliance, particularly in the construction and infrastructure industry, with a proven track record in litigation, contract labor management, and industrial relations. The role requires expertise in applicable employment legislations, strong liaising skills, and the ability to work independently while adhering to our entrepreneurial and results-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Labor Law Compliance
- In-depth understanding and management of The CL (R&A;) Act 1970, The EPF & MP Act 1952, The ESI Act 1948, and allied wage/salary laws, BOCW Act(Building and Other Construction Workers).
- Ensure compliance with Social Security, Industrial Relations, and Occupational Health & Safety legislations.
- Prepare and file statutory documents, returns, and forms with relevant authorities.
Litigation & Union Management
- Handle employee relations and industrial relations cases,
including union negotiations and settlements.
- Manage disputes, grievances, and other labor law-related matters.
Contract Labor Management
- Oversee all aspects of contract labor management, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with contractors and internal stakeholders for seamless management of labor resources.
Policy & Procedure
- Develop, implement, and review HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment legislations.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, labor laws, and compliance requirements to internal teams.
Liaising & Agreement Management
- Build and maintain relationships with local authorities and government bodies.
- Vet agreements and Memoranda of Understanding to ensure alignment with statutory requirements.
