Debt Capitals Market team is part of the Wholesale Banking Group at Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd. The DCM teams works to structure & procure debt financing solutions across situations like vanilla balance sheet funding, project financing, government financing, sustainable solutions, sub-debt, securitization of receivables, acquisitions financing, Real Estate etc.
The role involves credit sales in high yield and special situations segment to NBFCs and various onshore and offshore funds.
- Necessary skillsets to evaluate the transactions and structuring inputs to enhance salability
- Continuous engagement with the external investors at various levels to ensure timely syndication
- Closure of deal including sanctions, documentation and funding
- Interacting with the Origination/Execution team for structuring, executing the deals.
- Working independently as well as in a team
- Relationships:
External clients –NBFCs, Domestic & Foreign Funds, Wealth markets etc.
Internal clients- RMs, Execution & Origination Teams
- Qualifications: MBA (from top tier institutions); CA (rankers / first attempt)
- Should have in-depth experience of carrying out syndication – which shall involve working with the various investors
- Solid relationship building capabilities
- Understanding of regulatory framework, legal and operational aspects relevant to debt raising and executing
- Should possess good Communication skills – both written & oral
- Term sheets and documentation negotiation
- Experience profile of at least 10 -12 years
