Job Description:

Job Role:

1.Streamlining the Procurement and Store Function
2. Developing and implementing the commercial strategy for the business.
3. Understanding the value drivers of the business and identifying profitable commercial opportunities to grow revenue and market share.
4. Developing and maintaining an excellent understanding of the key Vendors to ensure that their needs are being met and that their business is retained.
5. Working closely with the Technical Head to manage requirements of key projects (existing and new), thereby improving turnover and profitability.
6. Reviewing existing products, services and markets.
7. Undertaking market research and analysis and producing business plans/recommendations (including all associated costs and forecasted revenue for the business), to ensure that all procurement opportunities are optimized.
8. Reviewing and assessing the potential to develop strategic partnerships with sector specialists – Bitumen, Steel ,Cement etc..

Assessing the risks to the business of any recent commercial opportunities.
10. Ensuring that regular reviews are carried out with Teams, Projects and Head – Technical to ensure that their needs are being met and that excellent services are achieved and,
11. Representing the company externally e.g. at networking events, conferences and exhibitions to enhance and strengthen the company’s profile and optimize all business development opportunities.
12. Develop the Commercial Manual (Purchase and Stores)
13. Conduct Store Audits and Re-conciliations,

14. Ensure movement of Surplus material at the Store to be shifted to the required projects.

Reports to :- MD/Director

Candidate Profile :-

Should have extensively worked with Infrastructure Development (Roads) for not less than last 5 years as Head of Purchase and Stores.

Should have handled multiple projects and specific Infra business
