In our expanding Livable Places team, an chance exists for a talented Engineer to assist in the development, design and delivery of a range of transport schemes including walking and cycling, road safety, highway, and parking. Projects range from scheme development to design and implementation.
Responsibilities
We require an individual with experience in some or all of the following areas to fulfil our expanding portfolio of work from public and private sector organisations:
- Highway/ Transport infrastructure design, low/ medium cost highway design schemes.
- Public realm Design- Footways/ Cycleways, Design of Pedestrian/ Cycle crossings.
- Design of Bus Corridors/ Park and Ride schemes.
- Junction Design – Priority/ Signalised/ Roundabout Junctions.
Responsibilities
Projects will largely be focussed on the UK, although a range of opportunities exist for work for other regions.
Working on both public and private sector schemes, the role holder will be required to provide technical support on various engineering projects from initiation to completion. Working alongside Senior, Principal and Associate Engineers, your team will be responsible for delivering a wide range of project outputs to the high standards expected by WSP and our clients.

- Ability to carry out engineering tasks from initiation through to completion without continual direction
- Have a good level of technical expert
