Role Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Analyst / Sr. Analyst – Credit Analyst to support underwriting operations for commercial lending and merchant acquiring portfolios. The role involves analyzing financial statements, bank statements, tax returns, and other financial documents to assess the creditworthiness of businesses and support underwriting decisions. The ideal candidate should possess robust financial analysis skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, process-driven environment while maintaining high quality and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Cash Flow Statements, and Bank Statements of business entities.
- Extract and accurately capture financial data into internal spreading templates and underwriting
- systems
- Perform financial spreading while ensuring completeness, consistency, and accuracy of financial information.




- Review tax returns and supporting financial documents to evaluate business performance and repayment capacity.
- Complete assigned cases within defined Turnaround Time (TAT) and quality benchmarks.
- Conduct ratio analysis, trend analysis, cash flow analysis, and profitability assessment.
- Identify financial risks, inconsistencies, missing information, and unusual transactions, escalating observations whenever required.
- Support credit underwriting by providing financial insights and recommending risk observations.
- Research companies using public sources to gather relevant business information for underwriting decisions.
- Process assigned applications within defined turnaround times while maintaining productivity and quality targets.
- Ensure adherence to underwriting guidelines, SOPs, risk policies, and client requirements.
- Prepare and maintain trackers, reports, MIS, and documentation.
