Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated English Educator to support the academic development of student-athletes. This role requires solid communication skills, the ability to integrate English instruction with athletic schedules, and a commitment to helping athletes excel both academically and in their respective sports. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fostering literacy skills, critical thinking, and effective communication in student-athletes while ensuring their educational success.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach English Language and Literature for Grades 10–12 across multiple educational boards but a small group.
- Prepare students for board-level assessments.
- Design and deliver English communication and public speaking modules, tailored to the needs of IIS athletes.
- Classify athletes based on proficiency and create structured sessions accordingly.
- Focus on qualitative and quantitative outcomes in communication skill-building
- Contribute to the IIS Newsletter – content creation, editing, and mentoring
- Guide and prepare athletes for debates,



media engagements, emceeing, and other institutional events

Collaboration & Integration
- Coordinate with coaches, sports science staff and academic staff to align communication training with athlete development
- Collaborate with academic team members to ensure consistency in content delivery and student tracking
- Work with event and media teams for smooth planning and representation of athletes in IIS activities
- Contribute to interdisciplinary sessions and life skill modules that involve communication, leadership, or presentation skills

Core Competencies and Skills
- Fluency in English and Hindi (spoken and written)
- Strong classroom presence and ability to train in public speaking and media interaction
- Experience in developing and delivering English communication modules, preferably for non-traditional learners
