Key responsibilities:
To oversee the functioning of Injection Moulding machines & utilities.
Conduct regular preventive maintenance of Injection Moulding, Printing machines & utilities to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical or technical issues to minimize downtime.
To check the Daily Routine Maintenance Checklist on daily basis for verification of all the maintenance of machines and Utilities.
To coordinate the OEM engineers in case of support required from them to rectify the problem.
To execute on the Preventive Measure Plan given by the departments and update on records.
To execute on the inter dept. memo received in case of any issues in the machines regarding electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, chiller, & fitting etc.
To process the Purchase requisition with the approval of the Unit Head to purchase department in case of any spare parts required for machine maintenance and/or repairing in absence of Maintenance in charge.
To check and execute for any electrical work in case of shifting of machines from one place to another.
To process the installation of recent machines whenever required in the unit.
To maintenance record keeping required for ISO documentations on daily basis.
Team Leadership:
Lead a team of printing machine operators and assistants.
Provide training and guidance to the team on machine operation and maintenance procedures.
Schedule and organize work assignments for the printing team.
Planning:
Coordinate with production team for planning of Preventive Maintenance for Injection Moulding to minimize the break downs.
Optimize Maintenance of machines for high efficiency and effectiveness.
Health and Safety:
Enforce and promote a culture of safety within the Maintenance & Production departments.
Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed during machine operation and maintenance.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage inventory levels of Critical & regular spares for maintenance.
Coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment of required spares.
Qualifications and Skills:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Proven experience in Maintenance of Injection Moulding & Utilities machines.
Leadership and team management skills.
Positive problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Effective communication skills for coordinating with the production & maintenance team.
SAP / ERP knowledge is preferred.
