We are looking for a curious and culturally engaged Associate Editor to work with The Moment’s editorial team. The contributing editor will primarily write and develop original stories for The Moment, while also working closely with the editorial team to refine ideas, strengthen narratives and shape pieces from pitch to publication.
They should be equally comfortable reporting a feature, writing an essay, interviewing cultural figures and identifying the larger idea behind a trend.
Contribute ideas for recurring editorial formats, thematic series and special projects.
Collaborate with the editorial, design and growth teams on headlines,
story packaging and social-media adaptations.
At least 3–5 years of professional writing or editorial experience, preferably within magazines, digital publications, newspapers or cultural platforms.
A minimum of 2–3 years of experience writing features, essays, profiles or reported stories.
An understanding of how millennial and Gen Z audiences discover, read and engage with editorial content.
