Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interior Designer specializing in healthcare and hospital settings. This role requires a professional who understands not just aesthetics, but also the functional, technical, and regulatory needs of medical spaces. The ideal candidate will bring a strong design sensibility, leadership skills, and technical knowledge to execute high-end design solutions across residential, commercial, or hospitality sectors. This role involves client engagement, team leadership, space planning, material selection, and coordination with consultants and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive layout plans, concept designs, schematic layouts, and detailed interior drawings for healthcare facilities.
Concept development and overview at site
Manage and mentor the designers and support staff.
Collaborate with architects, consultants, 3D Visualisers and vendors to ensure design intent is maintained.
Create and review detailed construction drawings, specifications, and documentation.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design fidelity.
Select furniture, finishes, lighting, and fixtures within budget and aesthetic goals.
Preparation of interior BOQs
Communicate effectively with clients to understand needs, present ideas, and resolve issues.
Stay updated with current design trends, codes, and sustainability practices.
Documentation of all the discussion and the meetings with clients & vendors
Preferred Qualification
Masters in Interior Design or equivalent
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, ZWCad SketchUp, Adobe etc.)
Excellent knowledge of design principles, color theory, and spatial arrangements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, teams, and contractors.
Skills Required
Strong understanding of space planning for OPDs, IPDs, ICU, emergency, OT complexes, diagnostic areas, support services, etc.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp/Revit, Photoshop, and MS Office.
Knowledge of healthcare standards (NABH, FGI guidelines, fire norms).
Solid communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
