About the Role
Surendra Group is looking for a skilled and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations independently. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in financial accounting, GST compliance, statutory filings, and bookkeeping. The candidate must be detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of handling accounting functions with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare and maintain books of accounts, ledgers, journals, and vouchers.
Handle GST compliance, including GST return filing and reconciliation.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities when required.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and taxation regulations.
Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and MIS reporting.
Maintain proper documentation of financial records and invoices.
Support management with financial analysis and reporting.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field from a recognized and reputed university.
Additional certifications such as M.Com, CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Experience in independently managing accounting operations is mandatory.
Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry will be preferred.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of GST laws, GST filing, and tax compliance.
Valuable understanding of TDS, accounting principles, and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of accounting software and ERP systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹20,559.63 - ₹41,810.14 per month
