About the Role

We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Construction Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting functions along with overseeing material procurement tracking and daily labor record management. You will serve as a crucial bridge between our office financial operations and active site projects.

Key Responsibilities1. Financial Management & Accounting
Maintain accurate general ledger accounts, job costing entries, and financial records.
Manage Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R), including subcontractor billings and client invoicing.
Prepare budget vs. actual expenditure reports for active construction projects.
Reconcile bank accounts, vendor statements, and credit card expenses monthly.
File applicable local tax compliance documents (e.g., GST/TDS or state/local sales taxes as applicable).




Material & Inventory Tracking
Track purchase orders (POs), delivery receipts, and vendor invoices against material requisitions.
Audit and verify site inventory usage to prevent material wastage or loss.
Maintain vendor registers, compare quote estimates, and ensure timely invoice settlement.
Labor & Payroll Management
Verify daily site attendance, work hours, and overtime logs provided by site supervisors/engineers.
Calculate weekly/bi-weekly wage payouts for direct laborers and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with local labor regulations and maintain worker payout receipts.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
