Job Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Accountant who has independently managed GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and monthly financial closing. The ideal candidate should have practical experience filing statutory returns, closing books of accounts, and working with accounting software without relying on supervision.

Key Responsibilities
Independently file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and perform Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation.
Prepare and file TDS returns.
Handle end-to-end bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records.
Independently close monthly books of accounts.
Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Statement and Balance Sheet.
Reconcile bank accounts, vendor ledgers, and customer accounts.
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants during audits and assessments.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent. M.Com or CA Inter is a plus.
25 years of hands-on accounting experience.
Must have personally filed GST (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B,



ITC reconciliation) and TDS returns within the last 12 months. Experience limited to reviewing or supervising others' work is not sufficient.
Must have independently managed monthly book closing and financial statement preparation.

Robust understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance.

Required Skills
Hands-on experience with at least one of:
Zoho Books
Tally
QuickBooks
Valuable knowledge of GST, TDS, reconciliations, and accounting standards.
Robust attention to detail and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications
Experience handling multi-entity accounting.
Experience accounting for LLPs.
Exposure to inter-company reconciliations and consolidated reporting.

Ideal Candidate Self-driven and detail-oriented.

Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

Able to manage deadlines for monthly closing and statutory compliance.
